Finally got the setup for the new scanner/printer done. It's an OfficeJet 7612 Wide. For those A3/11" x 17" art boards. I saw the sale price at Staples last Sunday, and something just snapped in my brain. No more multi-pass scan runs with the Perfection 1260...which has been Reliable for over a decade, but I cannot stand the way I was doing things anymore.
So it's been pretty slow going around here. Sixsmiths has been my main priority and I'm pleased to say that all of the digital books are done now, so I expect we'll see them available pretty soon.
There were some problems with the proof for volume 2 which I think have been sorted now--I'm waiting to see a second proof and we'll know for sure. Then the book will be available through POD and hopefully a Diamond solicitation.
I completed the first draft of my novelette a bit over a week ago and I started editing today. So far, thankfully, it's reading pretty well.
Job interview on Tuesday. Baby is due any time in the next 3 weeks.
I got pretty much nothing done on comix this weekend (just massaging the schedule and my to-do list a bit). Getting nothing done was intentional: I'm getting way the hell behind on stuff at the day-job, so I decided to spend all my "free time" at the office instead. Off the clock, because the situation really is that bad. So that's what I did this weekend to keep the comix going.
Contacted an artist about doing either a "gAyBC" book or a Tale (he seems more open to the latter). Finished a pin-up I've been scratching at for a week. (I decided that it didn't need inking, and just colored it.)

Worked on pencils for the next-after-next Tale, at the laundromat.
