I'm slowly picking away at building the Kickstarter page for the Wahoo Morris Book 2 campaign and picking away at finalizing the print ready file of Book 2.
This morning I put together a PDF of Book 1 for the digital potion of the rewards and I'm continuing to scan in old art for various digital and print re-prints.
Finished 6 pages of pencils over the weekend. Okay, to be honest I did six pages of pencils in one day. They were loose pencils, but not loose enough to make me regret drawing them.
Sat at my computer trying to get some work done. I began plotting out some scenes for the next issue of Isaac & Lee and also started to set up files for Grotto to be inked.
Recovering from an incredible anime convention weekend. Beat out last years sales numbers, easily. Having the new book on the table certainly helped, but some bundle deals (and a handful of people who bought one of every book) pushed me over the benchmark.
For the first time in more than two years, I sat down at a computer and wrote actual comic book script pages this weekend.... and it felt great. The script in question is for a 16-pager called SUMMER than I'm pitching to an anthology but could self publish if that doesn't work out. It's a sad piece about love and loss, and I've got a few artists in mind for it. So, yay me.
I've been doing all art-art-art-art (and not-comix) lately, and recently sat down and worked on a script for the first time in months, and it was a good feeling... so I have a hint of what you're talking about.
Went off my outline and now I have two extra pages in this script...trying to figure out what to put in there to keep the pace going, but also fill the space with something meaningful.
Kickstarter ended, successfully funding us by 101%. Thank you to everyone who shared, liked, commented, and pledged. It means the world to me.
Now to finish putting this thing together for the printers!
Yikes! This isn't a daily check in if I am only posting once a month! Okay, last night my brain was fighting with me but I managed to get 11 pages of stick figured thumbnails down.

And, colouring another cover.
I'd love to hear what it was like.
I applied for a table this year, but it seems to be a pretty popular show and I didn't make the cut.
