Can't think this will be a good thing for Dark Horse, which is one of the few companies left I actually like.

I don't particularly care about Star Wars itself. I just see this is as one more thing controlled by a huge media empire. Increasingly, the answer to "What does Disney not own?" seems to be simply "GE, NewsCorp, Warner, Viacom, and CBS".
They did say they had no immediate plans for Indiana Jones, however.
1) LucasFilm creates PIXAR, which branches off and contracts with Disney
2) Disney CEO Michael Eisner is ousted by the Board, replaced by PIXAR CEO John Lasseter
3) John Lasseter buys PIXAR - so Disney owns PIXAR, but PIXAR runs Disney
4) Years later, Disney buys LucasFilm
Yes. The circle is complete!
