I just saw a post about this Comic Creator Conference, taking place a couple weeks from now in Long Beach, California. Looks like a fairly low-key affair, one day, focused on nuts-and-bolts topics for creators, and a modest $50 to attend. If it were nearby, I'd consider going. http://www.comiccreatorcon.com

Damn. I've been wanting there to be something like this for the whole time I've been doing comics! I hope it does well and expands, so I can go in a future year.

I saw this earlier this year and was wishing that it was closer to me, or if there was a Canadian edition.

Seconding that, Beth. We have a similar event in Ottawa, CAN-CON, mostly for prose authors. But we could stand to organize a spin-off for comics people once the Pandemic is declared over and done.
