  • @brandonSeifert Glad to be here!

I've got some projects coming up that I could use a creative kick in the ass for, so being a part of a group like this should help with that.
  • Hi gang,

Trevor Mueller here. I run the gammut of comic making (artist, writer, even photographer), but mostly focus on the writing these days.

I work at an advertising agency by day, and write comics by
night. Much of my work has been produced on the web (including such popular webcomic
series as the fantasy epic THE TEMPLE OF A THOUSAND TEARS and the
teen-rated gag strip @$$HOLE!, both of which are self-published and
have been nominated for several web comic awards). Here's the link to my website, www.trevoramueller.com, which also has near-daily updates of movie, video game, and comic reviews.

In addition to self-published web comics, I have also written and
self-published several other works including the all-ages stories
ALBERT THE ALIEN and JUNKYARD CHASE.

I've also contributed stories to several anthologies, including
HOPE: THE HERO INITIATIVE from Ronin Studios and READING WITH PICTURES
from the non-profit of the same name that advocates the use of comics in
the classroom to promote literacy and improve education for all
    students.

Since I have the background in advertising, I actually joined Reading With Pictures as their Marketing
Director, combining his love of comics, education, and advertising.

I love to talk comics with other fellow comic pros, so it's great to be back on here. Also, my new agency was blocking the PnP forums, so maybe now I can interact with you guys more.

I am cartoonist Kelly Tindall. I am a pretty all-right dude.

I have been working in comics for three years now, publishing art and short stories in anthologies (This is a Souvenir with Richard Starkings), Machine of Death (edited by David Malki !), I Saw You (edited by Julia Wertz), Zombie Bomb 6 (edited by Rich Woodall) and comics (the Archie Snow backup stories in Proof #6-28 from Image as well as full art/colors for Proof #17). I've produced a ton of mini-comics and I draw the weekly webcomic That's So Kraven!, where we remove Raven-Symone from That's So Raven and replace her with a D-list Spider-Man villain.

I'm currently working on a pitch for a new ongoing and I'm shopping a completed 125-page OGN for kids called Squeak! with Alex Grecian. I'm also lettering the sell-out hit Green Wake from Shadowline/Image and I have been known, from time to time, to enjoy a nice big bowl of Montreal poutine.
  • Hi!

I'm Dan, a writer based in the UK. I've been a fairly regular contributor to the Eagle Award nominated Future Quake (as well as its sister titles Something Wicked and the sadly now defunct Mangaquake).

I also collaborated on a short story entitled 'Iron Harvest' with artist Rick Ross (Image's 'Urban Monsters') which is available in its entirety on Rick's website. I've also had work featured in anthologies from Ape Entertainment and the recently relaunched Digital Webbing Presents and have work featured in upcoming anthologies from Viper Comics and Accent UK.

I am currently working on the aforementioned New Adventures of Sir Harry Chiselton with Tim Twelves as well as working on numerous shorts and full length projects.

I lurked quite a bit on P&P but never really got actively involved with discussions, etc. So, fresh starts and all that. . .
  • Hello.

I'm Ed, a letterer, writer and former small press publisher based out of Vancouver, BC. Although I've been creating comics in one form or another since the mid-90s, I've only just made the leap to working full-time in comics in January of this year.

I've lettered for Image, Shadowline and Oni as well as for a myriad of smaller presses and manga publishers. My writing has mostly been limited to my own projects (most recently Murder Book), but I'm currently in talks for some WFH gigs and collabs with other creators.

2011 is the year I make things happen.
  • The crowd reminds me of the Engine back in the day.  I may get all wistful and teary-eyed.
  • @JonMunger, lots of these folks moved over here from Panel & Pixel — but it's really good to see new people!

!hola! Ironically I speak no spanish.

My name is Alan Evans and I am the man behind the curtain of the #1 wrestling webcomic, Rival Angels! It's about 4 girls finding out that their wrestling skills don't help them deal with each other outside of the ring as roommates. I tell you this because this is what I do. Since January 1, 2008, I've been updating 3X a week and I have never missed an update. I'm on page 522. Come check it out, it's a good afternoon's read.

I also help out on The Dreamer when Lora Innes needs help flatting.

    Can you dig it?

I'm Brendan McGinley and I don't do nearly enough check-in.
  • My name is Scott Springer and I was over at The Engine and then I was Panel & Pixels although I kind of dropped off the radar there for a while.

Anyhoo... I do a webcomic called Angry Faerie which updates Mon/Weds/Fri and has been going for over a year.

When I'm not working on Angry Faerie, I spend time with my wife (going on 11 years), two dogs, and the cat.  I live in Castle Rock, Colorado (halfway between Denver and Colorado Springs).  I work in customer service (looking for a new job, so if anyone has any leads...)
  • Hello, I'm Patrick Brown, I'm from Belfast in Northern Ireland, and I do The Cattle Raid of Cooley, a weekly webcomic/serialised graphic novel adapted from a very old story from Iron Age Ireland that's been running since 2008 and is somewhere around halfway done. I draw it in red ballpoint (without pencilling) and self-publish print issues (4 so far) when I have enough done. I've been self-publishing small press stuff on and off since the mid-90s. I hung out at Panel & Pixel for a while but lost track of it, and arrived here via a link on Whitechapel.

I'm Scott Bieser, writing and drawing webcomics from my underground lair on Mars (aka Cheyenne, Wyoming). I'm the editor, production manager, artist-in-residence, chief cook and bottle washer for Big Head Press, which publishes graphic novels and webcomics. I have drawn 5 graphic novels over the past 9 years and presently write and draw QUANTUM VIBE, a very cool and slightly silly sci-fi story about a girl and her mad scientist.

  • I'm John Bivens, and I am currently comic artist that is getting really behind on his work due to moving to another part of Illinois for a promotion (at my day job) and to teach at NIU (as a sub).  Did the ZUDA thing when that was happening, one of the stories was with @JustinJordan.  Wrote and drew the story "Leather" for COMIC BOOK TATTOO, did art for a story in POPGUN volume 4, and have also done art for a bunch of stories in Sam Costello's SPLIT LIP.  I did a story for the READING WITH PICTURES anthology, which is why I hang out at their tables during conventions... that and the Iron Artist Tourneys are fun.  Most recently I did art for a story in OMEGA COMICS PRESENTS #3 written by @RussellLissau and produced by @PJPerez.  I'm currently working personal projects while getting a few things off the ground with some writer friends.
  • Hi y'all,

My name is Jorge F. Muñoz, was one of the regular at PnP, at least for the fist half of it's course, then I was mostly a lurker.

I'm the artist of Bear Beater Bunyan, written by Josh Hechinger, available on Itunes and Android Market for your multiple mobile devices, and soon will be available on other platforms.

Also the artist of Oloshino, written by the one Ryan Burton and colored by Felipe Sobreiro, available at Top Shelf 2.0

Also have an upcoming webcomic, R+M, to be serialized this May at http://roplusmo.com also written by the amazing Josh Hechinger. (I have a pdf with the first two chapters if anyone is interested in proofreading-earlytasting)

Love the fact that PnP morphed into SW, it needed the overhauling.

  • I'm Darryl Ayo and I have no idea what happened to the last forum.

I did an art series/minicomic series/webcomic called LITTLE GARDEN for a few years. Then I killed my website by accident.

Since then, I've been writing about comics art and comics culture for my group blog "ComixCube," and slowly working on my next projects. I am a part of the House of Twelve comics circle who have a digital comix anthology with Comixology. House of Twelve also hosts the monthly NEW YORK CITY COMICS JAM, first Thursday of every month at Jack Demsey's near Jim Hanley's Universe in Manhattan. Mouthful.

I'm frequently cranky and always passionate about comics. I'm currently working out my ideas in a series of short comic stores. You will never read these.

    letsgoayo.com, y'all.

Heya. Matt Maxwell here. Lotta familiar names, which is good.

I write a web/comic (note funny nomenclature denoting the status of being not exactly a webcomic but not a regular comic neither, since I won't be publishing singles) called STRANGEWAYS. It's a western/horror book, the first story of which can be boiled down to "Cowboys and werewolves." It's more than that, but most people only have time for the three word pitch.

(URLS are not resolving right. So you'll have to copy/paste. Read STRANGEWAYS here: http://strangeways.highway-62.com/?p=33 ) MURDER MOON, the first full story, was published in 2008, but I went insane and am running it all as a webcomic. The second story, THE THIRSTY, will follow (though it was originally published at Robot 6 in 2009-2010, but the new one is re-lettered and will include a novella that didn't run online.) The third STRANGEWAYS book, entitled, THE LAND WILL KNOW has artists lined up and will begin production...soon.

I've been writing about comics on the internet since there was one, like with rec.arts.comics back in 1991. I've had a couple of columns and a blog that's run off and on since 1995: Highway 62 (http://www.highway-62.com). My day job is also writing, and pays a hell of a lot better than comics does, so my comics tend to take a long time to come out (as everyone's gotta get paid before me.) What else ya wanna know?
  • Dag allemaal!
that's dutch for "hello y'all" because I'm the Belgian of this forum just like I was on the PnP.
I draw comics and picture books and other illustrations for a children's audience for a living. Been doing that for 15 years and it seems that I'm good at it cuz I'm gonna work with with of the usual suspects here on some new stuff.

  • Hey gang. Geoffrey D. Wessel here. I'm working on getting this show on the road, but I've been serious-serious since about 2006.

Since then, I did a Morrissey-barbarian comic called There Is A Light, as well as a page for Phonogram vs. The Fans, both with John Keogh, ex- of Lucid TV. A few aborted projects later has finally produced results: I'm one of the primary writers/editors for sci-fi webcomic anthology Hadron Colliderscope, which has even adapted a Warren Ellis short story now.

My other main project right now is a sports/crime thriller called KEEPER, drawn by Jeff Simpson, with letters/design by Guinness World Record letterer Jim Campbell! This series has gotten a little but of attention, with accolades from such persons as Phil Hester, Jacen Burrows, and as of this weekend, Ian Rankin. This updates every Wednesday, so please feel free to check it out!

I'm always looking for new collaborators/projects (and have at least one or two I can't even speak of yet!), and I do have some of my comics for sale if you're interested.

    Glad to be here!

  • My name's Ryan Burton. I'm a writer based in Houston, Texas. My first comic came out in 2007--a four issue science fiction-y miniseries. Followed it up with a couple of online shorts with @jorgefmunoz and @anthonyperuzzo for Top Shelf 2.0 and ApeCMX, respectively. I have a children's graphic novel coming out this month.

If I'm not reading or talking about or developing new comics, I feel a bit hollow. It's good see everybody.
  • Hi! My name is Jeff Telofski. I am a comic-writer/author/playwright/filmmaker currently based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. I recently had my first comic work published in Ronin-Studios' HOPE: THE HERO INITIATIVE with art by the fantastic Richard Pace. I travel a TON for my day job, but plan to grind hard and get two projects off the ground before the end of this year.

I loved The Engine, lurked over at Panel and Pixel for years, and have now found my way here. I'm going to do my best to be more actively involved on this board, mainly because I have so much respect for everyone who's here and loves comics and creates comics! Thanks!
  • Sorry! Fixed my name! This will be my account on here! (Thanks Russel!)
  • Thanks for the fix, Jeffrey. By the way, I read your story with Richard and liked it a lot. I had a piece in HOPE, as did Trevor Mueller (he's here, too).
  • Thanks for the compliment! I loved your story, and Tom's art in it was fantastic! Trevor's story was great too, jammed full of heart! There's a ton of great work in that book. I'm happy to have been a part of something that could raise some money to help people who've entertained me my entire life.
