A couple of comments posted recently have pointed out that the users of this site are skewed a bit toward writers (rather than artists), and rather heavily toward males (rather than females). Not that I have anything against males and/or writers, but more different kinds of people would be a Good Thing, and I know they are out there. I don't think that there's anything we're doing to drive people away (correct me if I'm wrong), but maybe we can be more active in trying to draw them in. Sometimes it takes a little conscious effort.

When the forum first started, I invited a bunch of my comics friends to join the forum — including some non-male non-writers. Four or five of them joined, but none of them became very active or seem to have stuck around.

But I don't say that to discourage other people trying, too!

Well, I'm going to slow make my way back in here. (Artist, although male )

I didn't quite make the transition back from P&P but I'm hoping to change that now as you guys have been busy posting a ton of good info lately.
